The organizer of Cyprus Sunshine Cup and Aphrodite Trophy 2010 and Skyder Sportpromotion of Germany are aiming a cooperation. Furthermore Cyprus Sunshine Cup offers a special package to create a “Bikers Village” .

Bikin’ Cyprus Event Management, which is responsible for Cyprus Sunshine Cup as well as for the new Aphrodite Trophy, and Skyder Sportpromotion are initiating a cooperation.

For the Aphrodite Trophy the two companies are going to get in touch for the first time. For the participants of Skyder mtb camp in Tochni (15 to 21^st of March 2010) entering of the Aphrodite Trophy and support in the competition is included in the package.

For the Cyprus Sunshine Cup, Bikin’ Cyprus has launched an interesting offer. With Several hotels, all of them located at the boarder of Limassol and near to the final event site in Amathous- Agios Tychon, the management made a special arrangement including facilities like bike storage rooms, food and free internet access. Also the bikers will benefit from discounts in restaurants and cafeterias in the area around the hotels.In this way there will be a kind of “Biker Village” with ideal facilities and short ways.

“We try to care about a comfortable stay on Cyprus. And we assume that the international riders at the beginning of the new season like to meet each other, not only for training rides”, Mike Hadjioannou explains.

The chief of Bikin’ Cyprus also set an agreement with Cyprus Airways to get the bikes on the island for free.

With five months to go, the competition series already has arranged important details. The organization team itself in a sort was in training camp. At world cup finals in Schladming (Aut), nine persons of the team were taking a look on the organization of a triple event by being part of the events staff. “It was a great experience for them and gave them an idea how to organize such a big event. I think Cyprus Sunshine Cup will benefit of it”, Hadjioannou says.

The Cyprus Sunshine Cup new website www.mtbcyprus.com is online. In the new website one can find all important information and details about the races and other events. Also there is online registration for the races and the newsletter for all the latest news for the first European Mountain bike races for 2010.
